Residential air handling unit with rotary heat exchanger (599 x 361 x 700 mm, Ø125 mm) suitable for kitchen or bathroom installation in smaller homes.
R3 can be integrated with the cooker hood and placed above the cooker. R3 is also equipped with another kitchen duct connection above the unit, so that the unit can be placed outside the kitchen, but cooker hood can be still connected with a duct.
Standard R3 is equipped with a curved white metal door. Stainless metal door is available as an accessory. R3 Flat has straight metal door with connection plates so that a kitchen cabin door can be mounted as a cover plate.
The ventilation unit has intelligent demand-controlled humidity function (RH) as standard. CO2 and VOC automation are available as accessory. Intelligent anti-frost protection ensures continuous ventilation and automatic summer function with passive cooling helps during summer. Also external coils for heating and cooling are available as accessories.
GENIUS – R3 is now also available with the new Genius control system. The ventilation unit can be controlled from a separate Genius control panel, CASA Genius mobile app or with Swegon CASA cooker hoods and it can be connect to the automated building management system with SEM Modbus module or configurable I/O.
